2003-03-13 - 10:18 a.m. Ah, sweet memories of my frequently-hospitalized childhood:
(Go here and here for more culinary atrocities.) I tell you, for a 6-year-old in traction, nothing says "comfort food" like buttered lima beans and cottage cheese. And even now, I still can't get through the workday without my midmorning orange-eggnog break. Doesn't "cocoa and cracker" sound like the title of some mildly humorous crime series from, say, the early '80s? "She's black. He's white. They're COPS. And when they go on patrol, you have the right to remain LAUGHING! It's Cocoa & Cracker--tomorrow night, on ABC." I'm thinking Joe Don Baker and Pam Grier in the leads. *** |
