I don't believe it. Not for one bloody second.
Why? Because I remember the "final" episode of MST3K where Mike and the bots were transformed into Pure Energy while Dr. Forrester was regressed into infancy. Only then the Sci-Fi Channel picked up MST3K for a few more seasons and Mike and the bots were yanked back into this plane of existence and Dr. F.'s mom got tired of changing his diapers and killed him and took over his dreams of world domination.
So no, I don't believe it.
It was still sad, though.
