I was clicking around TV Guides web site just now when I found this truly frightening summary for a program on VH1 tonight. Youll see whats scary about it when you get to the end.

Rock and Religion

60 min.

The often contentious but always interesting relationship between rock music and organized religion is examined in this entry in the All Access series.

This history of the union includes the struggles of early rock pioneers such as Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard, who tried to reconcile their religious upbringing with their love of rock 'n' roll at a time when the genre was often condemned. Other topics range from religious imagery in music videos to the spiritual pursuits of Cat Stevens (now Yusuf Islam), Bob Dylan, the Beatles and Madonna. Creed's Scott Stapp, Sixpence None the Richer's Tess Wiley and various theologians provide commentary on the current state of affairs.

Scott Stapp ... a theologian???

I know its just a case of bad sentence structure, but the image gives me the willies nonetheless. I mean, theres a whole big roped-off section of Hell reserved exclusively for the members of Creed. Or there would be if I ran Hell, anyway.
